We are excited to announce Dingoo’s first-ever Pop-Up Film Fest, hosted at the historic James Theatre, Dungog!


Spend the day checking out the latest indie films from Australia and beyond, showcasing a series of short films and a special feature. Throughout the day, enjoy the outdoor pop-up bar and food area, perfect for hanging out and socialising between screenings.


Plus, there will be giveaways and prizes throughout the event! This is your chance to meet the Dingoo team, chat with filmmakers, and connect with fellow film lovers in a fun, festival-style setting.


Itinerary:

9:00AM: Coach from Sydney departs

12:00 PM: Arrival and lunch mixer

1:00 PM - 2:45 PM: Short film screenings (varied selection)

2:45 PM - 3:00 PM: Short break

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Q&A, awards ceremony, and giveaways

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Feature film screening

6:00 PM: End of screening. Drinks continue at Tin Shed.

Free Coach:

A free coach departs from Central Station, Sydney at 9:00 AM, returning from Dungog at 6:00 PM.


By Car:

Dungog is approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Sydney via the M1 Pacific Motorway and Bucketts Way. Free parking is available at the theatre.


By Train:

Dungog is accessible via the Hunter Line from Sydney’s Central Station. Trains run regularly, with a scenic route through the Hunter Valley.
